I am currently a student with Elise Languages; for many years I have wanted to learn Spanish. I love to scuba dive and most countries I visit are Spanish speaking so knowing a few words has often been useful. In the past I have tried listening to language CD’s and also tried a “teach yourself Spanish” book! Nothing has compared to learning directly with a tutor. Sol’s teaching style has helped me improve more than I ever imagined possible. The lessons are relaxed and I can ask as many questions as I like. We play interactive games, listen to other native speakers and complete written exercises. I like that I can take my time with the subjects I find harder such as grammar and irregular verbs. Sol is very patient and I can go over the same exercises as much as I need until I understand, I never feel hurried. In the same way I found directions and time very easy to understand so Sol allowed me to move through this section very quickly.  As it is only me I can move at my pace and ask as many questions as I like. Sol produces training material and homework for me to practice, tailored to my needs focusing more on the areas I need to focus on. I have been learning for 4 months now and I am really pleased with the level of Spanish I can speak already.
