Online Lessons Available

Elise Languages will keep all records of customers, suppliers and staff carefully, and treat them as strictly confidential. We do not pass, sell, trade or rent personal details entered on this web site to any third parties.

Fees

The Client accepts these Terms and Conditions by paying part of or the whole of The Payment.

We do not ask for full payment of the course before we arrange a teacher, this is why we ask a small deposit that's indicates your firm intention to commit to a course with us and is non- refundable unless we cannot arrange a teacher within 10 working days of the day the deposit is taken. In these circumstances, if you do not wish to wait, your deposit will be refunded in full.

The Payment must be paid directly to Elise Languages. Fees are non-refundable so please make sure you are committed to the hours you have booked. Fees may be subject to change at any time, however this does not apply to fees already paid.

Payment - can be by electronic transfer or PayPal.

Tuition - needs to be paid in advance, bookings must be made in blocks of 6 or more lessons.

Intensive courses - need to be paid in full in advance.

Travel fees

If finding a teacher close to your location is not possible, travel fees will apply. However, this will be discussed with the client, prior to the commencement of tuition.

Cancellations / reschedule lessons

We offer a flexible service providing you give a minimum of 48 hours notice (24 hours for online lessons) within Elise Languages working hours (Monday to Friday 09:00 am - 5:30 pm). The client must contact the teacher directly for practical reasons. Where the client is unable to contact the teacher, the client must telephone or email Elise Languages who will then contact the teacher. If less than 48 hours (24 hours online lessons) notice is given for a cancellation, the lesson will be billed in full. The cancellation policy should be discussed directly with Elise Languages and not with the teacher.

Teacher delays due to transport problems will be rescheduled or, with the client's consent, the time will be made up at the end of the lesson. Client delays may not be made up (except by individual arrangement with the teacher).

Should the teacher need to cancel a lesson, the missed lesson will be made up at the end of the course or at any other convenient time.

Courses which take place on a Monday may be affected by Bank Holidays. Some lessons do not run on Bank Holidays and missed lessons are therefore postponed until the end of the course.

Where a teacher is unable to continue a course, Elise Languages will provide an equally qualified, experienced and suitable replacement.

Group Courses

A minimum of three-weeks notice in writing (email or letter) is required to cancel a course; cancellations after this time are non refundable. Cancellations made with more than three-weeks notice before the start of a course will be subject to a 25% cancellation charge.

We reserve the right to cancel courses due to unforeseen circumstances. We will refund all participants in full should this occur and all refunds will be processed within 15 days after the course start date.

Expiry of lessons paid

Please note that when you pay for 12 or fewer lessons they are valid for 3 months from the date of the first lesson. After that time, if no satisfactory attendance has been fulfilled it will be deemed that the client is no longer interested in the course and therefore will have lost the remaining hours. Larger bookings have extended validity and Elise Languages will inform the client of the expiry date when the booking is made.

Children and vulnerable adults

Any lessons involving children under 16 years of age or vulnerable adults we advise that an appropriate responsible adult remains in attendance whilst lessons are taking place.

Course Content

If there are problems with course content the client must contact Elise Languages immediately.

Material:

Although we provide students with photocopies and other pieces of material it is important that all students buy the textbook book that we recommend whether for adults or children

Staff

Clients must agree not to make any separate arrangements with Elise Languages staff during contracts and for a period of one year afterwards; all negotiations with Elise Languages staff must be made through Elise Languages. Elise Languages may give full contact details of their consultants and other staff to clients to facilitate communications during contracts, but this is on the understanding that they will only use this information for the purposes of Elise Languages business, and that they will not share this information with third parties.
